| The serenity of Angelfire, a mountain village in northern New Mexico, with its aspen trees and snowcapped peaks, inspired this sterling silver jewelry collection. The centerpiece of the collection, an angel, is created in sterling silver with a lace skirt carved from gold mother of pearl, smoky quartz, and topped with a brass halo. Jewelry designer, Carolyn Pollack says, "The soothing comfort and many blessings that an angel brings is the perfect focal point for this collection celebrating a peaceful, Southwestern town." The golden and smoky tones of the Angelfire collection replicate the distinctive coppery color of the aspen leaves when they first open in spring, as well as the brilliant gold color that the leaves turn in autumn, before the trees fade into a quiet, winter slumber. |
The Angelfire collection is characterized by carved mother of pearl and a stunning combination of sterling silver and brass. The signature piece of the collection, the angel, showcases traditional Southwestern carving work, as well as the natural beauty of genuine gemstones. The carved shell is framed by sterling silver, smoky quartz, and bronze accents replicating the luminous, golden color of aspen leaves as they make their spring debut.
Bracelets, necklaces, and earrings feature intricately carved, leaf-shaped gemstones and organic-shaped beads in earth-toned hues that capture the natural serenity of the Angelfire Southwestern village.
